August is always an exciting month in the US. Most of Europe slowly returns to life in August, but here in the US, we dive right in with school starting over the first few weeks. We’ve made it through our first two weeks of school, and everyone seems to have adjusted to the new rhythm of life. We also completed a large design project with Ty Pennington, concluding with three days of installation and three days of filming.
This weekend we’ll be focused on bringing some of mother nature inside with our moss bowl. We enjoyed some fantastic vegetable dishes this summer, and we’re not eager to give these up, so we’re continuing to experiment and try new recipes. As the days get a bit shorter, we’re also assessing our lighting and making some indoor and outdoor updates.
