Happy Friyay! It never gets old does it? The promise of a whole weekend ahead of doing whatever we want? Yes!! I just started a book called “Autumn in Charleston” and I’m hooked! It’s been so long since I’ve been able to really get into a fiction book but this one is set in Charleston and involves coffee shops and walks to bookshops. Finally! An author who gets me! I’m hoping to squeeze in a bit of some reading and baking over the weekend… and, of course… decorating! We just decorated the porch for fall and it looks SO CUTE!! I’ve been buzzing around every room of the house, leaving little hints of fall, but I must say that the most profound change, is the cozy vibe brought in through the candles, the fall leaves, and the cozy blankets! We won’t even discuss the fact that we are going through a heat wave because thankfully my husband keeps the house sub arctic so it always feels like winter in our house all year round! LOL!
What have you got on your agenda for the weekend?! We are hoping to do a bit of antiquing as well and stop by an estate sale or two. I’m currently trying to replenish my vintage/antique leather book collection. Somehow they just make the house feel complete.
