What is it about Fridays that make them so UTTERLY EXHILARATING?? Perhaps it is their consistency, their reliability… they come every week, they never bail on you, and they usher in two WHOLE DAYS of the weekend. It must just be the anticipation… the excitement of two days of doing any. thing. we. want!
As I’m writing this, I’m looking out my window and cannot help but observe that, at least for now, neither this Friday or the month of September is ushering in any signs of Fall. Are you guys feeling that, too? So, I’m focusing my time this weekend on getting outside, enjoying the moderate weather (as in 81 for the high rather than 99. Woohoo!), and embracing the lingering warmth.
I’ve been enjoying watching as many shows as I can from New York Fashion Week and hope to catch a few more previews over the weekend. I love to peruse the new in Fall items and start outfit planning and vision casting. I’ve noticed this year that I have become obsessed with YSL (as in, I CANNOT GET ENOUGH!!) so I love to shop their items, but also check out places like Mango, H&M, and Amazon for pieces that have a similar vibe.
I feel the influence of these fashion moments blurring into my home decor, so, if you are like me, and feel the need to tweak your home and prep for something new and exciting, join me in my renewed obsession with Pinterest (cinnamon flat white in hand, of course… or champagne! But I definitely get more accomplished with coffee!! Haha!)
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it in the last minute or two, but you guys are MY WORLD. Having found so many kindred spirits around the globe who live and breathe all things pretty and beautiful and lovely is the most amazing thing in the world… you are my BESTIES and I’m so happy to be on this journey of life with you!
