Okay, I have to talk about this because I’m a little obsessed. You guys know I’ve never been a capsule wardrobe girl—the whole “here are your ten pieces, good luck” thing? Not for me. I love options. I love standing in my closet and not being confined by such small limitations.
But here’s what happened. I was packing for Greece and I did NOT want to be the woman hauling a giant suitcase up a hill in the heat. So I chose a handful of pieces that I absolutely loved, packed them up and gave myself (and Jack’s back) the best gift ever…..an incredible wardrobe made up of only a few pieces!
It’s all that chic-but-comfy sweet spot I can never resist—a crisp white linen shirt, a strapless romper I’ve basically lived in, tailored Bermuda shorts, a linen blazer for dinners, a black woven bag that somehow goes with everything, the perfect flats. Every piece is modern, classic and simple, AND every piece was affordable, and they all just talk to each other. I get dressed in a few minutes and still feel chic and fabulous… and comfortable, even in the heat!
