There’s Christmas jazz music playing, the house smells like a dreamy forest (thanks to my Dior Candle burning nearby) and the kids are laughing and playing upstairs. The season of magic and celebration is upon us and while I feel the rush to hurry and buy all the EARLY Black Friday Deals (I’ve made a list if you want to shop it!), I’m also feeling a calm and sense of wonder.
I’ve been thinking about the little desires that fill these days- everything from hot, bubbly baths and fluffy blankets meant for cuddling and watching movies to the scents that we love… like our candles… and our perfume. I’m in love with the J’Adore Eau du Parfum which is unlike any of the other versions that bears that name. It ia a floral and sensual scent carried by notes of ylang-ylang essence, Damascus rose essence and jasmine. I bought the gift set as soon as I saw it, along with most of the holiday collection from Dior. Honestly, is there anyone who makes holiday beauty sets better than Dior? I really just don’t think so.
And while I’m dying to run off to Paris and/or New York just to see their holiday displays (last year’s were truly exquisite!), those little gifts arriving this week were like opening the most enchanting and delicate gift. The ribbon, the boxes, the little embossing on the lipstick and the eyeshadows. Ugh. Yeah. It was pure magic.
If you are thinking about treating yourself to something to enjoy over the season or gifting others, I truly cannot recommend anything more highly. Each box comes wrapped in ribbon with a note inside and I really do recommend ordering from Dior. They send the most wonderful gifts and it’s truly a memorable and beautiful thing to behold.
Well, I believe my bedtime is upon me and while I know I will have trouble sleeping from all the excitement from this season, I can’t wait to slip into my silk jammies, spritz myself with J’adore and dream of the beautiful days ahead!
