You guys… you will not believe what happened to me yesterday. I popped into Crate & Barrel just to grab a quick pick-up order (famous last words, right?). And then it happened. I saw them. The most gorgeous iron vases I think I’ve ever laid eyes on. My jaw? On the floor. My cart? Instantly fuller.
They come in two sizes — 18″ and 14″ — and of course, I couldn’t decide… so naturally I brought both home. Zero regrets. They’re absolute showstoppers styled on their own, but together? Chef’s kiss.
And just when I thought I was done, this oversized metal horse caught my eye. You know how sometimes you see something and it’s just so stunning you can’t stop staring? That was me, standing in the aisle, whispering, “You’re coming home with me.” He’s this incredible rust-brown color that feels both modern and timeless, and now he’s living his best life in my house.
Oh, but the story doesn’t end there. (Did I mention I’m terrible at self-restraint in the decor aisle?) I grabbed the coziest maple brown faux fur pillow — seriously, the kind that makes you want to cancel your plans and snuggle in. And of course, I couldn’t walk out without my all-time favorite Pumpkin Ginger candle from Apotheke. The smell is fall in a jar. Sitting next to the candles were these GORGEOUS amber glass pumpkins….I couldn’t choose, so I didn’t!
So yes, I went in for one thing and came out with… let’s just say “a little more.” But honestly? That’s the fun of it. Sometimes the best pieces are the ones you didn’t know you needed until they take your breath away.
