I love Summer and there’s a certain kind I’m always chasing—the quiet, sophisticated kind. Less tropical-loud, more effortless and well-traveled. This mood board is exactly that feeling, all in one place.
You’ll notice I kept the whole thing to black and cream against a soft beige, and that restraint is the entire point. No bright colors, no beachy clichés—just high-contrast neutrals that feel polished and intentional. Instead of lots of color I’m creating interest with patterns and texture. We’ve got a gorgeous raffia tote, woven leather sandals, linen trousers, the fluffiest Mongolian shearling chair, and a scalloped eyelet cami that begs to be touched.
This is organic modern dressed for the season. Sculptural, tactile pieces—that black sculpture, the little scallop shell—sit right beside clean, modern lines like the chrome-framed chair and that sleek black swimsuit. Soft against structured. Calm against cool. It’s that contrast and combination of the two that I CANNOT get enough of!
