Happy Friyay!! I’ve been thinking a lot about the imaginative people I have encountered, whether in person, in books, or through some other avenue. Some are architects, some are business people, so are restauranteurs, some design fashion, some create within science, some play sports… some open shops while others write books. I’ve always been fascinated by people like this my entire life. I used to think that most of them were born with an innate ability to perform in their field and faced no obstacles, but dig a little deeper and you will find stories of courage, vision, drive… triumph in the face of adversity. I am in awe of those who are given such incredible imagination and the boldness to create it. I shudder to think of what our world would be like without the imaginative! Think of what little would exist!
Just think of what we might do if we dare to be so bold to keep our dreams and aspirations!
With the weekend ahead, I hope we all find a little time to celebrate the imaginative- perhaps book a meal at their restaurant, visit their art gallery, buy their book, listen to their music… be a patron of the imaginative. Then in our own little way, we are a part of their dreams… ugh. Yeah. That sounds amazing, doesn’t it?!
