Guys. The leaves are starting to change on the trees and we are entering my favorite season… the homebody season!!
Is there any better season than homebody season?! It is, if you ask us, the best six months of the year… when it becomes the social norm to spend all weekend baking, all week casserole making, and we become addicted to organizing our china cabinet with beautiful glassware and pretty little bowls. We stack the logs, add pillows to every room room (and a blanket, too, of course!) and we hunker down. You can ask us out, but you are more likely to get an invitation to the table we’ve already set… because the homebody season is all about celebrating staying in!
So, as the weekend approaches, let’s prepare the house for a season of freshly baked cakes, candlelit dinners, dimmed chandeliers and pillows and cozy corners galore!
Let’s make (or buy! :-)) wreaths and pumpkins and stacks of wood and fill the vases with pretty leaves and soak up every single minute of the Homebody Season!
