You know when the entry to a home looks like one of your favorite museums, that you are in for a real treat, at least that is how I felt when I walked up this gorgeous stairwell. This home, currently up for rent, is right in the middle of Copenhagen and all one could ever want is literally just steps away, yet inside it is a serene escape that is quiet and art filled home with muted walls accented with bursts of color. With quite a few iconic Scandinavian pieces, this home possesses a quality of ease and casualness that seems to borrow from the French je ne sais quoi with just the right amount of Italian refinement.

If you love this home, then you will definitely want to consider adding some of these pieces to your spaces:
Make it modern with a classic Scandinavian Artichoke Lamp, Add Serenity with Original Artwork (though This is a beautiful budget savvy choice!), Bring in a playful feeling with Missoni Chevron Pillows, (These are great chevron cushions, too!) The Swan Chair is a classic balance of femininity and masculinity, Bring a strong sense of weight with A Lux Black Sectional (This is a great smaller size if your space isn’t so big!), and not too much seriousness with striped Missoni Pillows (These are beautiful, too!)
Flos Chandelier for modernity, An Italian Inspired Portrait for a hint of old world style, Use an Abstract Horizon in shades of blue to give the eye a place to rest, Add a classic, eternal feel with a Dark Wood Table, but pair it with a Structured, Masculine Chair to Keep it from Feeling to expected (an affordable alternative!). And, of course, don’t forget the perfect wine decanter!
