It’s Fri YAYYYY! What a great feeling, right? A whole weekend ahead of us… my heart leaps with the possibilities of how we can spend it! Shall we grab a stack of books and sit outside for hours with coffee and cake? Rearrange a bookcase… or even a whole room? Perhaps we will head to the beach or the pool and sip mai tai’s? There are flea markets and farm stands and long drives in the countryside or even a cool, chill sushi dinner in the city…
Two whole days and so many possibilities!
I have never had so much fun decorating for summer. These last few days I’ve been re-styling up my rooms with a bit of an organic twist and dare I say… exotic? I love that word. It feels like it holds an adventure inside it. I don’t even have to go anywhere, just dreaming of the places we have been and hope to go one day is enough me! Something about those rough hewn textures, the raw feeling something that feels like it came from a far away place (even if it just came from Zara!) is enough to feel like today is the best adventure I’ve even been on!
So, with a whole weekend ahead, I hope you find a little sun to kiss your cheeks and an adventure wherever the days take you (even if it’s just the backyard!). Life is short, so let’s juice it! Sending a hug and a kiss for each cheek! xxV
