Guys, there are TWO things that I absolutely love. The first is summer—those hot days, those warm nights, the gardens coming alive, eating al fresco with the lightning bugs dancing in the air… I mean, WOW! And the second? MODERN design! It inspires me, it motivates me, it’s bold and beautiful, it breaks the molds of normality and invites us to IMAGINE! So in true House of Valentina fashion, I’m combining the two and bringing all the long, lazy summer feels into our home in the most modern, intentional ways!
Here’s the thing—summer decor doesn’t have to mean shells, anchors, and bright coastal pastels (though those have their moment, of course!). You can absolutely capture that warm, breezy, sun-soaked feeling with a more modern, sculptural approach! And I am SO here for it!
Just look at these pieces! A black hand-textured vessel with all the patina, a moody fringed ottoman that’s pure drama, a curvy travertine coffee table that stops me in my tracks, a sculptural teak orb that feels straight from a Mediterranean villa, beautifully textured abstract art, organic wooden decorative beads, the dreamiest chunky throw, an aged terracotta vessel with so much character, a sculptural black geometric credenza, a spiky black vase that’s pure art, a wavy clear glass vase that catches the light just right, AND a chunky travertine tray to pull it all together!
It’s warm, it’s earthy, it’s MODERN—and it feels like the most beautiful summer!
