Guys, I love bringing nature into the home! It helps the inside of the house feel connected to the outside, and it creates the most beautiful sense of calm and peace. I find myself craving natural pieces in our home and it has become such a consistent element in the way I design a home. I’m always grabbing random twigs, sticks, seed pods, pine cones…..I rarely come home from a walk empty handed.
In every single room, I’m looking for how to bring in a natural element. In some spaces it’s a full-size tree. In others it’s a branch or a few trimmings from the garden. Sometimes it’s fresh florals, a basket of firewood, or a bowl of pine cones.
And now that we’re heading into cozy Fall season? I crave it more than ever! The trouble is, I don’t always have access to the real greenery I want to use. The season is short, and the good stuff isn’t always waiting in the garden when I need it.
So this year I ordered a selection of faux greenery and seedpods, and guys — I am blown away. The quality is SO good. The pieces are gorgeous and so real looking. Textured seedpods, twiggy branches, those soft earthy tones that look gathered rather than bought.
I’m using them all over the house and the result is exactly what I was hoping for. I’m obsessed. These are a few of my favorites, which one(s) are you “collecting” this year?
