Red is absolutely THE color of the season — and honestly, I get it. There’s just something magical about red at Christmas. It’s festive, it’s heart-warming, it’s nostalgic… and the best part? It works in every single room, no matter your color palette. Truly. Whether your home is black, beige, blue, taupe, or a mix of all the above, red fits in beautifully and instantly adds that holiday sparkle.
And here’s the little secret I love: adding red is so easy. Most of us can take one trip to the basement and come back up with enough festive magic to transform a whole space. But if you don’t have much red (we sure didn’t!), you only need a few essentials to make it feel intentional and elevated.
I’m skipping the bright candy-apple reds this year and leaning into deeper, richer shades — the kind that feel warm, elegant, and maybe just a tiny bit dramatic. And honestly? You barely need any of it to make a huge impact.
Drop a handful of red berries into your garland or wreath… instant transformation.
Take your neutral or green-toned tree and add a few deep red ornaments, a bow or two… suddenly it looks incredibly festive.
Pop a red candle on your coffee table… boom. Holiday magic.
It’s that easy.
These are the red pieces we’re decorating with this season — and yes, they’re still in stock (for now 😉).
