Eeekkk!! Today’s the big day!! We are releasing the full makeover and tour of the living room on the YouTube channel!
When it comes to Christmas, we have one simple goal….create magic! I don’t aim to follow all the trends or chase after the latest ornaments; my ultimate desire is for all of us to enjoy the Christmas magic. Every design journey begins with the tree; it’s the heart of our decor.
After a huge amount of debate (watch the video for the drama!) this year, I opted for the 9′ Balsam Hill tree. (It’s just so beautiful!!) Jack helped me embellish it with a couple of hundred twinkle lights to add an extra layer of wonder and shimmer.
When it comes to ornaments, I stuck to a timeless silver, champagne and white color palette, with subtle hints of tans woven in. I incorporated plenty of Champagne-colored ornaments, paired with silvers and milk whites from DN Decoration. These ornaments are absolutely stunning—I have them in multiple colors, and they’re all absolutely gorgeous. To elevate the tree’s elegance, I adorned it with various Mercury Glass ornaments that I’ve been collecting over the past few years (I admit, I’ve developed a bit of an obsession!).
I’m thrilled with how this tree turned out; it served as the inspiration for the entire room’s decor, as well as our kitchen area. I carried the same ornaments over to the garlands and wreaths throughout our home. Jack even incorporated those magical twinkle lights into our other trees and plans to use them outdoors as well.
The end result? A room that exudes enchantment and wonder! I’ve included a list of all the key ingredients for the tree below.
