Traditional Bathroom Makeover :: Going for the WOW factor

My Mom and I are ending the week a bit tuckered out from loads of painting and redecorating, but she is super pleased with her new dark navy bathroom so it definitely feels worth all the effort. Mom didn’t want to lose the traditional feel of her bathroom, so instead, we played up those elements and accented with her favorite Greek pieces and sterling silver accents.

The space now feels luxurious and traditional with a bit of an underlying modern simplicity. We chose art work that mom already owned and found all kinds of treasures in her stash to use to achieve this look on a dime. We spent less than $200 total for paint (Behr in Dark Denim) and extra accessories, such as the towels, the rug, and the vase. See if you like the result!
