It’s time to get your home set for a new year, and starting with fragrance will absolutely transform your spaces — and how YOU feel in them. I love mixing scents to create a layered, intentional fragrance story for the home. Since we’re at the very beginning of the year, I’m craving scents that feel fresh and clarifying… but because it’s still winter, I also want warmth, depth, and just a touch of sensual drama.
Right now, I’m burning a mix of candles that balance crisp with cozy — nothing too heavy, nothing too sweet, and absolutely nothing boring.
Charcoal is one of my anchors. It’s clean, smoky, and grounding — like opening the windows on a cold winter morning and letting the air reset everything. It feels modern, calm, and incredibly chic.
For warmth and richness, I’m layering in Leather Tabac. This one is moody and masculine in the best way — leather, firewood, amber… it feels like a quiet evening by the fire with a cashmere throw and zero agenda.
I’m also loving this Tobaco & Patchouli right now. It adds an earthy, slightly bohemian depth that keeps everything from feeling too polished. It’s warm, comforting, and incredibly grounding — especially in the evenings.
To keep things from feeling too heavy, I always bring in something fresh and vibrant, and Baies does that perfectly. It’s green, fruity, and alive — like a bowl of berries on a winter table. It lifts the whole scent story instantly.
Then there’s Terre Noire, which adds an earthy, slightly mysterious layer — warm, evocative, incredibly sensual and just different enough to make people pause and ask, “What is that smell?”
And finally, the Woodfire candle which provides a solid foundation for the entire home. It’s smoky and smooth at the same time and incredibly cozy!
Together, these candles create a home that feels refreshed, warm, grounded, and quietly sensual — exactly the energy I want as we step into a new year.
Because how your home smells isn’t just ambiance…
It’s how you begin again.
