My daughter Hailey who is now 14 has definitely gone through plenty of transitions with the decor in her bedroom, which is pretty typical for most kids. Hailey also happens to be a bit of a maximalist and a hoarder (all said in love by her semi-minimalistic mother.) Even though we loved her previous desk area, Hailey wanted more storage, a vanity area where she could sit and put on her makeup, and a desk area where she could write. (She loves to journal, write music lyrics, and occasionally still writes out her school homework.)
Hailey’s other requests included bright pops of color while still having an overall modern feel and, if possible, more pattern and animals. We have created a video to give you an extra peek into the process and result as we created a new teen vanity and desk:: (Links below for more shopping details!)
