There’s nothing quite like seeing your wife with ratty hair, an old t-shirt, and paint on her pants to make you want to marry her all over again. That’s exactly how much husband found when he got home after a quick trip to Home Depot. “Surprise! A Living Room Makeover!… sort of…”
You see, if patience is a virtue, I am not a virtuous woman. I haven’t an ounce of it. When I have an idea in my head I want to do RIGHT NOW…. yesterday… heck, three days ago if I can help it! So, when my husband went to grab a few more paint samples for my endless quest for the perfect shade of grey for the living room… Well, he obviously came home to a bit of a surprise…
His Hotty, surrounded by the remains of a hastily removed garland, slapping paint on to the fireplace… ahh, the joys of home ownership. I havent slept since we moved in a month ago because I haven’t stopped plotting, painting, plotting, and then painting some more.
