Technically, it’s under contract in the first weekend, (it takes about 30 days typically to actually close on a home in Georgia) but this home procured quite the reaction from buyers in the Roswell, Georgia area. Priced at $278,000 showings starting pouring in the minute it hit the market on Thursday morning and between then and 4pm on Sunday we had 45 showings. Yes, you read that right. FORTY FIVE!! And 20 offers and 5 back up offers.
So, is there some sort of magic to this place? We think so! Buyers know when a home has been cared for and when the seller has great taste it definitely helps. (I didn’t have to stage A THING! I’ve told my seller that she needs to consider a career in design!)
Many buyers said they loved the photos which of course made me feel good (and I credit my seller’s great taste again!) because I still stage and shoot my own listings.
With inventory low and schools spectacular, this home broke a whole lot of hearts (I know because I got teary eyed and broken heart emojis sent to me by 19 buyer’s agents.) But there is one very sweet couple that gets to make this home their own and we are so delighted for them!
What’s really fun is that my seller is about to buy her new home and she’s changing up her style, but keeping a lot of the same pieces. (She had several buyers trying to buy EVERYTHING but these are some of her favorites that you can expect to see at her new home!
