Happy Friday!! It’s the wee hours of Friday morning as I write this. (Yes, I am the type who would rather watch the sun rise without any sleep rather than having to wake up for it! Haha!)
I’m just so excited about the weekend ahead! Think of all the minutes and hours we have to do all the things we love… like decorating, baking, gardening, cooking, and maybe even reading a great book with our morning coffee. It feels like a world of possibilities is ahead… like a blank canvas just waiting for us to make our vision come to life! I imagine a cake stand brimming with a just iced lemon cake, a basket (or two!) lined with a linen towel, overflowing with loaves of fresh baked bread! Let’s add a bounty of fresh fruits from the farmer’s market, a wood bowl brimming with fresh lettuces and herbs just plucked from the garden. Let’s throw some boots by the backdoor with the mud mostly knocked off them and the sound of birds serenading us. If we throw in a few fluffy white clouds amongst the crystal blue skies and the sound of sprinklers and the laughter of the ones we love… can there be any happiness beyond that?!
If you figure out the things you love I genuinely believe it will lead to your happiness… Once you find it… repeat it, as often as possible!
So, this weekend I hope you will dream up the happiest place on the planet and create that world around you because your home is your happiest place and it’s all yours to create!
