Modern British Farmhouse… In the City, with Victorian Details

I hate being labeled, which is why I typically avoid personality tests. I hate to be put in a box and told to behave according to my personality type because somewhere in my mind I am a free spirit, so individual that I cannot be defined. Which probably says something about my personality.

I say all that because so many of my friends, family, and clients STRESS OUT over defining their style, But it really doesn’t matter what you call it, as long as it is YOU.

I do love when convention is bucked and a farmhouse is plopped right in the middle of a city or rustic wood is paired with Victorian details. Even though it defies labels, I think Modern British Farmhouse could really catch on. Call it what you want, I am in LOVE with the Victorian details in this home alongside the Farmhouse Shaker cabinets. (And did you notice the Smeg range like we have? We can order one for you if you are in the market for new appliances! We LOVE ours!)
