Spring is here and and with it comes all types of special events. Whether you’re attending a graduation, wedding, or a girls’ lunch out, finding the perfect outfit is key to feeling confident and stylish. I’ve pulled together three modern, elegant outfits that are perfect for any spring special event. All of these outfits are a mix of modern, classic and sensual that will help you stand out from the crowd. Let’s get started!
The first outfit is perfect for a spring graduation. I love a slightly dressy white dress for these types of events. It’s the perfect look because it balances dressing up with staying cool. So many graduations are outside and in the increasing warmer days, it can hot! I still love my heels for days like this but I do recommend going slightly lower since you may be moving around quite a bit. If the dress is a bit more dressy I recommend balancing it out with lighter accessories so it keeps the outfit elevated and approachable at the same time.
The second outfit is ideal for a spring wedding. When it comes to formal weddings, I love the idea of wearing a gorgeous dress. For this occasion, I’ve chosen a navy dress with a thigh-high slit that hits at just the right spot. This dress is elegant and chic while still being a little bit daring. Accessorize with a pair of strappy heels and a statement purse for the perfect look.
For the third event, a lunch with the girls, I’ve included two options. . This year, I’ve fallen head over heels for short suit sets. They’re dressy, yet comfortable, and perfect for spring weather. For this look, I recommend wearing a cream-colored short suit set with a pop of color in your top. A black or navy silk tank top is my normal go to with this suit. Accessorize with a pair of lower heels or trendy sneakers for a look that’s both chic and comfortable.
I’ve also included an outfit for those more casual, warm days of summer. I love wearing a beautiful, white dress in the summer. I love the way it flows and moves with you and I love feeling the warm sun on my shoulders. This look is great whether you’re meeting the girls for drinks outdoors or a nice cozy restaurant. A pair of flats or lower heels and a wonderful summer bag go perfectly with this. Just thinking about all of this has me ready to wrap up this blog post and go meet the girls for an afternoon coffee!
