Have you ever flipped through a copy of Living Etc, the wildly popular British home magazine? If you happen to love bright and modern interiors then it is sure to not only make you happy, but heavily inspired. (Sometimes my local Barnes and Nobles stocks it, so you might find one near you!) Luckily you won’t need to hop a plane or even drive down the road for your Britain fix, though, because British has come to our American doorsteps.
Fashion Designer, Matthew Williamson, has created the most brilliant collection for CB2, which he calls “Controlled Bohemia.” Known for his spirited sense of glamor, Williamson applied the same sense of whimsey and fantasy that he uses when creating the dresses that have made him so famous. The best part is that since CB2 is dedicated to budget friendly modernism, so each piece is surprisingly affordable. (My favorites are the avec sofa, the Coloring Book, and the candy colored Parrot.)
I know a lot of you love color and why shouldn’t you? It’s so much fun, it’s lighthearted and so happy! If you aren’t sure about adding color to every single surface, consider adding a little pop here or there. Take a peek at the collection and see if anything in particular catches your eye:
