I’ll be honest with you… I’ve always loved Fall. The crisp air, cozy sweaters, apple picking, crunchy leaves underfoot—it’s all such a vibe and I am here for it. But decorating for Fall? That’s been a struggle.
It always felt like I had two choices:
- Go full pumpkin patch with bright orange everywhere and a giant “FALL IS HERE!” sign stamped across my house.
- Be the Grinch of Fall and ignore it altogether!
Neither one ever felt right. I mean, I’m definitely not a “too cool for Fall” kind of girl—give me all the cozy candles and layered blankets, please! But the orange overload? Not in my house. So this year, I came up with a third option. Valentina’s version of Fall. My version. A little moodier, a bit sensual, but still oh-so-cozy.

Instead of pumpkins galore, I brought in rich textures and colors that whisper Fall without screaming it. Deep amber vases (that double as candle holders, because hello, instant cozy glow). Big, rust-colored tin vases from Crate & Barrel—large, statement-making, and completely unexpected.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Fall without scent. My absolute favorite Pumpkin Ginger candle from Apotheke is burning away as I type this. This candle is amazing because the combo of the pumpkin and spices makes the house smell like a pumpkin pie is in the oven….cozy, warm and delicious!
So, here’s the thing: Fall doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s Fall. It can be bold. It can be warm. It can be yours. And honestly? That makes it even better.

Hi Valentina…love your content!
