My little oasis…
My bedroom door opens out to the deck (one of my favorite features a home can offer!) so I decided to plant a kitchen garden with citrus and herbs, figs and tomatoes… it’s become a private escape where I run to every morning with my coffee cup. I love how a garden can bring such calm and delight! XxV

Styling up a brunch date with the girls…
I love eating al fresco this time of year! I’ve got some of my best girlfriends coming for brunch so I’ve set the table with some of my favorites from @thewhitecompany
1. I always lay a charger down (it’s the foundational piece that helps pull everything together! These made of rattan really help bring a summery feel!
2. Next I choose dinnerware that will create depth and are perfect for serving! These are so creamy and the handmade quality of them is stunning!
3. Flatware is an opportunity to create interest! These made of rattan also add character and personality!
4. Coasters are an extra feature that gives glassware a little “umph.” I love adding these with the woven look because, again, they are really pulling my summery vibe together.
4. Don’t forget to add florals and candlelight for the finishing touch! I love using hurricanes so the flame is contained & and pretty rattan baskets with a glass of water inside Perfectly corral casual blooms.
5. Finally, a favorite beverage, like freshly squeezed lemonade + sweet tea adds a special treat for guests!
