We bought our first school supplies this week, a fact which seems utterly displaced when record high heat is on the forecast, but, alas, we are rolling with the reality of summer coming to an end for our kids. We, however, are determined to hold on to summer as long as possible!
We planned one last quick trip to Miami to grab some rays, sit by the pool, and put our toes in the sand before reality starts to catch up with us! So, this weekend I’ve got some outfit planning to do for a modern vacay in the summer heat. I need to pamper my nails a bit, which is always a good excuse to sit still, read a book, and sip on my coffee, which will preferably be a cinnamon toast cream coffee (I’ll add the recipe for you! It’s great iced as well!)
This week I’ve been having major clarity on what I want for our home and particularly when it is related to the back yard. We’ve FINALLY gotten some initial plans and it’s looking very promising, so I plan to dive into my Pinterest a bit more and see just how many unreasonable requests I can make of our budget! 🙂
Some of the smaller tasks on my own list are hanging the new art we got (and the mirrors!) and committing to some new bathroom sconces. There are so many beautiful options!
