Garland is one of the most powerful ways to add instant character and beauty to a space. I love draping it everywhere — over the fireplace, around doorframes, up the stair railing, across cabinets, even above oversized art or along the top of a console.
And since Ralph Lauren is having a major moment this Christmas season (though, let’s be honest, we’ve always been fans), we couldn’t resist weaving a little of that timeless elegance into our garland. Of course, I never leave garland as-is. I always start with a simple base and build on it — layering greenery, ornaments, ribbon, and unexpected details until it feels bespoke and full of personality.
