Summer Bliss Unveiled: Embrace the Season’s Magic!

Fresh cut grass, the sound of sprinklers ticking back and forth, late afternoon thunderstorms rumbling in, bullfrogs serenading their evening audience, the feel of soft linen against warm, tanned skin… there are so many things that make summer so special. Our last few weeks have been a bit of a blur with ferry rides, island hopping, and sight seeing, but really, for me, there is no place I love more than being home in the summer.

I love sipping mint juleps on the back deck and watching the sky fade into pinkish and orange hues. And don’t even get me started on the feeling of walking bare foot through the grass as I check on the status of the hydrangea and the fig trees. I find myself silently nudging the blackberries to hurry up and ripen so we can make a yummy cobbler with them.

Summer is a season of perfection and I hope as you look forward to the weekend that it is filled with all the delights this time of year has to offer! I leave you with the challenge to count how many things you love about summer and enjoy as many of them as you can in these coming days!
