There’s something beautiful about setting the table for the everyday. So many of us reserve this activity for significant events, the special meals throughout the year, but I’ve learned to think about it differently. I believe there’s something beautiful about making the everyday something worth celebrating.
The table setting sets the tone for the meal, and I’ve enjoyed changing ours over the last few weeks. A few weeks ago, I styled ours with a summer feel inspired by our trip to Mexico. This table setting is less summer and a bit more formal with more classic stemware and beautiful gold flatware. The real showstopper is the lovely square dinnerware. Its non-traditional square shape is complimented by the “imperfect” design of the stoneware.
Whether you’re entertaining for a special meal with a large group or a small gathering on a random Tuesday, I hope this helps you design your ideal tablescape.
