Happy Friyay!! We were back in Pottery Barn today and as I sank into the leather chair I’ve been oggling and testing for weeks on end, I couldn’t help but just utterly FALL IN LOVE. Leather chairs have a way of making a room, and you, feel utterly cocooned and soooo comfy!! They age well, make a room somehow feel more intelligent and just add a general feeling of Heritage to space, something we all have become a bit obsessed with lately. We used to have the most amazing leather chair… it just got better with time and I really miss it, so we might just be grabbing ourselves a set for the living room… because, honestly, the thought of sitting in one by the fire with a good book and a cup of coffee (and the horse pajamas I just bought!) sounds like the most amazing thing in the entire world! (And why shouldn’t we design our homes around the life and experiences we want?! Doesn’t that help us define what will help us feel like our homes are the best place in the entire world?!)
So, as we head into the first weekend of October, the leaves are starting to really change, and most of us have managed to load up the porch with pumpkins and candles, I think planning out some cozy moments should be on the agenda for all of us, don’t you?
