A few weeks ago, my mom and I decided to meet at Scottsdale Farm for a bit of shopping and plant hunting. (click here to see our vlog from the day!). As I looked at my wardrobe that morning, it suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks – I didn’t have a lot of clothing suitable for a day in the charming countryside. You see, my wardrobe game is strong when it comes to workwear, and I’m all set for chic city escapades, whether it’s for work, shopping, dining, or enjoying a few cocktails; however, when it came to a day in the country, my collection left much to be desired. Leather pants and stilettos? Not exactly the farm-frolicking attire of choice!
That’s when I decided it was time for a little shopping spree (yeah!) Armed with a vision of outfits that stayed true to my signature style – a blend of elegance and classic charm– I was determined to create looks that would effortlessly exude countryside chic.
