One of the most common design questions that I hear from people is “How do I know which sofa to buy?” The options are almost endless, which is both exciting and terrifying. “What if I choose the wrong one?” Choosing the right sofa is huge because it’s the centerpiece of most living rooms, setting the tone and design direction for the entire space. We also have to consider the investment required. If I buy a candle that I don’t like, it’s $20 and I can regift it. If I buy a sofa that I don’t like it’s a different story and they don’t sell gift bags large enough to regift it.
I understand the struggle so I’m going to share a few of my favorite sofas. Some of these I have in my own home and some of these I’ve used in client projects all over the US. Pottery Barn and West Elm offer affordable options that are a healthy mix of well-designed, customizable and affordable. If you want to shop them and learn more download the guide below and click on the sofa for the link.
