Out of the Closet :: Casual Friday

My daughter and her friend from school have been with me all week, assisting me with photo shoots as a part of their school’s internship program. I’ve had a total blast with my little assistants (who are not quite so little any more and quite significantly taller than me, too) but I told them I would be their stand in model, aka guinea pig, for a little “Out of the Closet” post so they could style, direct, and shoot the entire session.

They created a “Casual Friday” look for me which is probably a little more casual than my normal style these days, but I love how youthful these girls are and I felt just a teensy bit younger embracing their ways. Despite the fact that their model was a short 30 something year old woman, I thought they did a pretty epic job with the brief, the composition, and these two 14 year olds were fantastic to work with. I’m ready to hire them!
