Artilleriet Shop in Sweden :: Let’s Peek Inside!

You may not want to move to Sweden for the weather, but if fika, the tradition of stopping every afternoon for cake and coffee doesn’t win you over, then surely the heart palpitating shops will.  Just yesterday, we were chatting about the recent Christmas table designed by Artilleriet, a shop so beautiful that I hopped in the car and drove up there just for a visit.  Ok, no.  Not really.  I kinda cheated.  I shot these last February when our family visited Gothenburg and totally forgot about them.  (Please tell me some of you do the same kind of thing!)

Despite the fact that I now want to hop in the car and drive to Gothenburg to do some Christmas shopping, I have to stay put and clean my house like the Pope is coming for a visit (because my mom is coming tomorrow and her visit demands no less effort!)

So, let’s do a little virtual shopping together instead, shall we?  I’m going to resist pointing out every. single. thing…. because I love and want it all… but this shop is literally one of my favorites in the entire world and that is because Artilleriet seamlessly blends Scandinavian modern design with a bit of French “joie de vivre” and cool Dutch edginess…  Let’s take a peek around… though I must admit… I’m already formulating how to convince my parents that we NEED to see Gothenburg!  STAT!
