What was I thinking? It’s the first space that I see daily when I leave our bedroom and yet it was EMPTY! It literally sat empty for over 7 years!!!! That’s almost 100 in designer years!!! Once I got over the shock, I knew it was time to breathe life into this neglected hallway.
Though just a few feet long, this hallway serves as a vital connection between our bedroom and living room. Its visibility from the living room, appearing in countless photos and videos, demanded something special.
I started by filling the left wall with art from Desenio. Opting for repeating art created a cohesive look, turning a collection of smaller frames into a larger, impactful piece. Then, I introduced two large framed pieces, first from Desenio and then now from Amazon, instantly falling in love with their presence in the space.
To add depth without cluttering the area, I strategically placed a pedestal in the corner. Greenery injected a touch of vitality into the space, breathing freshness into this small space. And to tie it all together, one of my decorative spheres—a recurring motif throughout our home—found its place in the hallway.
What was once a neglected passageway is now a vibrant, inviting space that adds character to our home. It’s amazing what a little attention and creativity can achieve!
