I’m sitting at my desk, wrapping up a bit of admin and making sure all of our videos are set for the next few days. I’ve got butterflies in my tummy though Jack just laughed as he popped into the room because he said I look as cool as a cucumber from outward appearances.
The production assistants have been here for about two hours and have been loading up the trucks with everything we’ve ordered for the biggest project we’ve ever done (though the size of the space is quite petite!)
I’m having a pinch me moment. We are filming with an all star production crew, starting in the next couple hours and I want to scream and jump up and down and run in circles but I’m also on battery charging mode! Lol! Gotta save my energy for a weekend of fun, celebration of our lovely clients, and a dream that I have only managed to whisper to God and a few people over the years…
There have been a lot of hard days over the last ten years and quite a few videos that just about had crickets chirping- at least SOMEONE was there! Hahaha But I remember saying this quiet little prayer even on the days when someone else had told me to my face how ridiculous what I was doing was… I whispered into the dark, “not for me, but for them. I want my kids and others to see that if you dream something, and work really, really hard… anything is possible… even for people like me!”
So I just want you to thank you all for all the love, kindness, belief, and encouragement you have poured out on me over these years. Being on this journey with you has been the greatest gift of my life and I hope in my little way that I have returned some of that love back to you! If you have a dream- don’t let people deter you! There is magic in you. I see it! Your ideas, your heart, your family, your work, your home- they are all part of the biggest dream anyone of us ever live and that is that beautiful thing called life.
I’m being told it is time to go, but before I sign off, I want to thank you again. May your life be full of hope and dreams, love and laughter, cherished times with those you love, and a big hug and a kiss for each cheek from me! xxV
