It’s HAPPENING!! Sometime between Monday and Wednesday the leaves went from a basic green to a bright and robust yellow… well, only a FEW of the leaves had actually changed color, but it was enough to captivate my attention. I stood marveling and twirling the branch Jack had “foraged” from our yard, acting like a kid seeing snow for the first time! It was JUST AS EXCITING!
What a wonderful thing it is to begin a new season, and especially when it is one that is all about getting COZY.
This weekend is a very exciting one because we have two birthdays to celebrate: Jack and our youngest, Landon. Yay! So, we will be baking cakes and drinking champagne (those of us over 21, of course!) and spending lots of time together!
If I manage to squeeze in some “me” time I’m hoping to pull out my boots (woohoo!!) and maybe order a new pair or two for the season. I also need to pack away the last bits of late summer clothing for everyone in the house, which for me, is never a chore, but a task that I absolutely love! (Spending time with each of the kids, getting them to try on clothes that they’ve outgrown, and getting them organized for a new season… while we CHAT and hang out? BLISS!).
I would love to finally find a chandelier for the living room. I think I say that every week! Haha! But I did have my closet company come look at our laundry room, the coat closet, and the weird awkward closet in my garage (no. I haven’t even let me mom see it, so as of yet there is no proof of its existence!) So I seriously need to finalize my Inspo photos and figure out what I want!
