Greetings from the Peach State! Having grown up in Georgia, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of returning to my roots and indulging in the flavors that make this state so special. From the sweet aroma of freshly baked peach and pecan pies to the creamy goodness of vanilla bean ice cream, it’s the perfect recipe for a slow and enchanting Sunday afternoon. And to truly capture the essence of Georgia, I’ve discovered that creating the perfect tablescape adds an extra touch of charm to the experience.
For a summertime look I believe simplicity with a touch of elegance is the key. I start by layering my simple white dinnerware with these beautiful black floral dishes from Ralph Lauren. These add just the perfect dash of sophistication to the table. It’s so easy to elevate a store-bought pie with my Emile Henry pie plate. To take the presentation over the top, place the pie plate on this beautiful rattan pie plate….utter perfection!
No tablescape is complete without the right flatware. Currently, I’m in love with my rattan set, as it adds a rustic yet stylish element to the table. The natural texture of the rattan complements the southern ambiance, effortlessly blending with the overall theme. It also plays perfectly off the coasters and chargers!
I also added in the candles for a sweet ambient fragrance to complement the moment! Putting pillars in hurricanes makes it less fussy and bothersome while serving!
