The Most Epic Master Bedroom… That Might Be Bigger Than Your Whole House

May 16, 2016 · In: Interior Design

Southeastern Showhouse | House of Valentina

We Americans are known for a lot of things, but going small is not one of them.  As a petite person I have always said that good things come in small packages, but this time… BIGGER is better… WAY better.

Yesterday my mom and I visited the Southeastern Showhouse, presented by Atlanta Homes Magazine, which for those of you not living in the Atlanta area, is one of the biggest designer events of the year.  Interior Designers get to present their ideal design in one room of the show house, which in this case, is a palatial 20,000 square feet (1858 sq meters) English Manor style estate in one of the most prestigious zip codes in the city.

A full tour will be available in the upcoming issue of Atlanta Homes Magazine but today I have a sneak peek of the Master Suite, which is so massive that your entire house might fit inside it.  Really.

There is a sofa in the bathroom.  Enough said?

With it’s own living area, desk, fireplace, bathroom, gentleman’s closet, lady’s dressing room, and her lounge, it’s an epic tour, full of ideas no matter what size your home is.

This Spring I decided to do something crazy…..I made BIG changes! It wasn’t about a color, it was about a life! I wanted to LIVE, to bake, to entertain, to laugh, to garden.
