TARTAN CHIC? Is That a Thing? I’m Buying It.

Do you remember when “Urban Cottage” became a thing back in the late 90’s? We were all talking about it down here in the South for sure. Shabby Chic went a little modern and Cottage Living Magazine followed quickly afterwards. We bought it. We loved it… And we’re still buying it.

So Tartan Chic? Is that a thing? Can we really give something so associated with cozy and country a modern twist?

I think so. While the rest of us were trying to distress wood and add florals, Cindy Crawford was doing mixing tartan and sports cars.
