It’s the final day of 2022 and there’s no better way to spend the day than with family! Every year we have a tradition of hosting New Year’s Eve Brunch and it’s always the most cosy day at home filled with so much joy.
I love trying out new recipes during the week, but for our first brunch of the year I always make a delicious and filling quiche, with a side of breakfast sausages, fluffy scrambled eggs and a sweet and a blood orange mimosa. And OMG I have to share my mimosa recipe with you because you won’t believe how simple this ultimate bubbly drink is! Try it and let me know what you think!
Blood Orange Mimosa
- 1/2 Glass Champagne
- 1/2 Glass Blood Orange Juice (freshly squeezed)
- Slice of orange to garnish
We spend the morning eating around the table together which is a great time to reflect on the past year and the one to come too! It’s always followed by puzzles and laughs in front of the fireplace. I couldn’t wish for a better way to celebrate the New Year and enjoy the special day with my family.
