Our European style MASTER BATHROOM MAKEOVER is LIVE

May 12, 2017 · In: Bathroom, Before and After, Design, Home Tour, Interior Design, Our Home

House-of-Valentina-Master-Bathroom-Makeover-15.jpg

I am About. to. HYPERVENTILATE!!  I am SO excited to show you the final result from our european style Master Bathroom Makeover.  I seriously cannot get over it.  I keep walking into the room and just standing there like a goof ball with a big grin on my face.

I was SO scared about taking on a renovation of this magnitude, but, in the end, all the drama was in the reveal and not too much in the process.  Just in case you have forgotten, here is the before:

I realize that the wallpaper may be someone else’s style, but I COULD NOT stand how our faces glowed red just standing in there and the vanities were really yucky once you got up close to them.  The jetted tub was dated, perpetually impossible to clean .. and oh. God.  The carpet.  That stuff would give grown men nightmares.  Ahhh!!  SO scary!

But then… THIS::

Here are a few more photos ::

Pivot Mirrors: Pottery Barn, Faucets: Wayfair, Lights: Restoration Hardware

Many of the items I collected at estate sales and through our travels.  My favorite items here: Vintage bust, Vintage Trophy, Antique Moroccan Silver Platter

We had the most amazingly talented Camille and Grey create a floral arrangement for our big debut…

All tiles from Floor and Decor. Swan Hooks: Charleston Hardware Co, Towels: Target

Venetian Mirror: Wayfair, Similar Bust: CB2, Hand Mirror: M&R,  Vanity: Antique, Vanity Chair: Wayfair

Chandelier: Pottery Barn, Picture: (My entrepreneurial great grandfather who came to the US in his 20’s)

Tub: Signature Hardware, Aesop Toiletries: Barneys

Wall Color: Platinum Grey by Benjamin Moore, Ceiling Color: Cliffside Grey by Benjamin Moore

Vanity: Restoration Hardware

Vase: M&R, Vintage Bust: Similar at Etsy

And now… it’s bath time!  Thank you so much for following along with our adventure.  I hope it will inspire you to create spaces in your own home that really represent you and truly make you feel at home! xx

This Spring I decided to do something crazy…..I made BIG changes! It wasn’t about a color, it was about a life! I wanted to LIVE, to bake, to entertain, to laugh, to garden. So I brought in blue, bought new plants, started baking and it has been AMAZING!!!! It’s like floating in a beautiful fantasy world!

You are only going to get one life so why not live it with every drop of your heart, mind, body, and soul…. And a touch of blue!

Everyone is coming home for Easter this year and all I can think about is everyone gathered around the table for a gorgeous brunch and loads of treats and lots of catching up! So I wanted to create an Easter tablescaoe that is comfortable, relaxed, and brimming with herbs & bulbs from the garden and lots of bunnies and blue florals! I even got a beautiful scalloped edge tablecloth in a blue pinstripe that just seems to pull it all together!

What do you think?!

What are your plans this year for Easter?! There’s always a seat at our table! 🐰🤍
