When most of us think of calm and earthy, we associate those words with the country side and certainly not the middle of one of the most bustling cities in the world, NYC. This condo defies all those preconceptions and really inspires one to believe that is is possible to find peace amidst the chaos. With simple gauzy white curtains, both at the windows and around the bed, which ingeniously tricks the eye into seeing multiple zones in this small studio space.
The arched light over the Dining Room Table was the perfect space saving solution for this tiny floorpan, but it also added a bold stroke of architecture that really sets the space apart. Simple lines and the use of light, natural materials make this home a true escape that comfortable, inviting, and, dare I say, kid friendly?
