Happy Friday! We’ve got a couple cooler mornings under our belts here in Atlanta and it’s put me into “GO MODE!”
Weekends are the perfect time to tick a few things off our lists when we feel energized and excited! I absolutely love pulling out a new season of clothing. I do it little by little so it stays fun so this weekend I plan to go through my coats, checking for tears or repairs needed and taking any to the dry cleaners that I might have missed before. I always put on a James Bond movie and “get into the zone” to make this a seriously pampering moment! I usually bake cookies just to sweeten up the task and make the house smell delicious (those Caramelized White chocolate Cookies are calling my name!)
I also love to use the weekend to get myself prepped for the upcoming week. I love to switch up little things like my lipstick and/or eyeshadow for the week so I never get bored. This week I pulled out my Tom Ford lipsticks and remembered just how amazing they are! (Spanish pink is such a great nude, but you might want to go bolder with these Fall days ahead and try something more decadent like Impassioned!)
Weekends are always a time to try new ideas, daydream about what projects would be fun to do around the house and peruse Pinterest for inspo! I could probably sit at my computer all weekend doing just that, but we’ve started to take Sunday drives pretty regularly these days. It’s so nice to get out when the sky is bright blue and there’s a hint of Fall in the air!
Of course the best thing to indulge in, is time spent with those we love. Maybe that’s why we all get so excited about these upcoming cozy months. Baking, snuggling, and feeling the warmth and love that this season promises really does make it the best time of year!
