We did something kind of crazy this week…. Yes! We booked a trip to Paris! It’s our 26th Anniversary in a few days and so we decided a romantic escape to the city of lights was in order. All I can think about is sitting in cafes, roaming gardens and museums, and of course, eating lots of baguettes! Paris has a way of getting into you… it has an allure that draws you in and makes you want to live… and shop! 🙂
I’ve already started planning my outfits while Jack makes dinner reservations, but honestly, our favorite part of Paris is always just walking. Even just thinking about is has reminded me of that joie de vivre. How simple the pleasures of life can be and how taking time to slow down and sip our coffee and pour a glass of champagne can be so transformative to our souls!
So, we are planning on getting a little practice in this weekend by embracing that spirit right where we are and we hope you will join us. Let’s light our candles, let’s eat en plein air, play jazz, read books, and hold hands… and let life just linger within us.
