Today’s introduction has been one I have anticipated for quite some time. This is Møbel & Rum (Danish for furniture and space) and it is on the precipice of it’s big launch. Grounded on the principles that every product should have a story, M&R is focused on quality over quantity, sustainability, and ethical practices, and is a forerunner in the design world in Denmark.
This company has a very special place in my heart since I was asked, just before leaving Copenhagen, to not only provide several limited edition art pieces but also a collection of product and lifestyle photographs that are now being featured on M&R’s new web site and instagram.
The initial collection will include a collaboration of artists, each offering a unique product that celebrates the possibilities of Denmark. Here are some of my personal favorite shots:
