We were on our way to Abbot Kinney yesterday and just happened to drive past Lily Ashwell’s new shop. “Wait!” I yelled to my husband… “Isn’t that Lily Ashwell’s shop?! We have to go back!” (My poor husband is such a good sport to my whims.) So, around we went and all the magic I expected after seeing Lily’s home in Domino magazine was waiting there for us.
I will have lots of photos to share of her shop next, but first you have to see her beautiful home to fully appreciate the magic she creates. The gene pool that has been carried down from her mom, Rachel Ashwell, is very obvious, but Lily really has her own style that is youthful, fresh, and offers an exciting twist on her mom’s Shabby Chic style that is full of light, shades of azure mixed with the palms and succulents that make her style SO now and so LA.
Love!! Have been a Rachel Ashwell fan for ages (in fact, I am on top of her Shabby Chic sheets and pilowcase as I type), so learning about her daughter Rachel, was such a treat! Thank you for letting me know about Lily….hope you are all having the time of your lives in LA!!
