Is this What a Female Empowered Home Looks Like?

I love the idea of female empowerment. In fact, I am a huge advocate for it and consider it my life calling to encourage women to reach for their dreams and achieve them, but I don’t always feel like I identify with the syrupy sweet and hot pink version of the message that I see so much online.

I really struggled with that for a while until I woke up and was like, um, duh. Girl bosses come in every shape and size, color and age and across every field of study and talent.

So, this is one of many versions that I think represent Female Empowerment. It’s soft and feminine, relaxing and earthy, yet powerful and exciting.
