Is Atlanta Going Glam?

Atlanta has a great many nicknames, including “The Big Peach”and “Hotlanta” (which most of the locals use to refer to the weather rather than the fellas.) Glamor, though? That’s not a word that most of us would have used to describe this city… until lately, that is. Things seem to be changing rapidly in this town and as a local that has left and come back, it seems that there are endless possibilities to explore, including new restaurants, unlimited shopping, and urban development that is adjusting to the millennials desire to move back into the city. After living in Scandinavia and visiting Los Angeles, the house prices are pretty spectacular as well.

While we may not all have just under a cool 5 mil sitting in our back pockets, it will buy you a a whole lot more in Atlanta than many places and will get you: one of the most prestigious zip codes in the city, a cherry tree lined entry that will blow your mind, a billiard room, seven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, a wine cellar, a theatre, a gym, a stainless steel kitchen… oh, yeah, and more than 18,000 square feet of space to stretch your legs (but that’s only if you don’t count the outside terrace, the pool, and the rest of the carefully manicured property.)
